Gelagen FAQ: Clear Answers to the Most Common Questions People Search
Thirty-eight questions in seven topics, each answered in its opening sentence and checked against the label and the seller's own policy pages.
How to use this FAQ
This page gathers the questions people type into search engines about Gelagen and answers each one in its first sentence, so you can stop reading as soon as you have what you need. The questions are grouped into seven topics: the product itself, ingredients and dose, safety, results, buying, comparisons, and refunds. Every answer was checked against the printed label and the seller's own order, returns, terms and contact pages on October 18, 2026, and medical points link back to the sources on our detailed pages.
Three answers come up so often that they are worth stating up front. Gelagen contains no collagen. Its 5,000 mcg of biotin can interfere with some blood tests. And the refund window is 60 days, started by email. Everything else on this page builds on those three facts.
If your question is not answered here, two routes are open. Questions about the formula, the label or the evidence can be sent to the ledger desk at ledger@gelageno.com, and we add the useful ones to this page with the date. Questions about a specific order, a delivery, a charge or a refund can only be answered by the seller, because this site has no access to orders. For those, write to the support inbox printed on the bottle and quote your order number. Medical questions about your own situation belong with your doctor or pharmacist, who can see your full list of medicines and your test results.
About the product
What is Gelagen?
Gelagen is a dietary supplement gummy sold as Advanced Gummies for Skin Health. Each 60-gummy bottle provides 30 two-gummy servings of nine vitamins, two minerals and two token nutrients, built around 5,000 mcg of biotin.
Why is it called Gelagen?
The seller does not explain the name. It sounds like a blend of gelatin and collagen, but the product contains neither; the gummy is set with fruit pectin and its formula is vitamins and minerals.
Who makes Gelagen?
The label names Instituto Experience of Lakeland, Florida, as the distributor and says the gummies are made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients, in an FDA-registered facility. The manufacturing plant itself is not named.
Is Gelagen Korean?
Not in any way we could verify. The front label shows a Korean Technology seal and the South Korean flag, but the side panel says made in the USA, and no Korean company, patent or process is named.
Is Gelagen a collagen supplement?
No. It contains no collagen, gelatin, hyaluronic acid or ceramides. It is a vitamin and mineral gummy set with pectin.
Is Gelagen vegan or vegetarian?
The label lists no animal ingredients, using pectin and tapioca starch instead of gelatin. There is no vegan certification and the natural flavor source is not given, so ask support if that matters.
Is this the official Gelagen website?
This is an independent order and label guide. The order buttons lead to the seller's official order page and BuyGoods checkout; we are not the maker or distributor and earn a commission on orders.
Ingredients and dose
What is in Gelagen?
Per two gummies: biotin 5,000 mcg, vitamin A 630 mcg, C 20 mg, D 10 mcg, E 7.4 mg, B6 2 mg, folate 442 mcg DFE, B12 6 mcg, pantothenic acid 5.2 mg, choline 0.04 mg, iodine 42 mcg, zinc 2.7 mg and inositol 40 mcg.
How many Gelagen gummies should I take a day?
Two, about 30 minutes before a morning or afternoon meal, with a full glass of water. That is the printed direction.
Can I take more than two gummies?
No. There is no evidence that more helps, and it doubles the biotin, vitamin A and sugar. Stick to the label.
Can I take one gummy a day instead?
You can, though it is half the recommended serving. It halves every amount, including biotin, and makes a bottle last 60 days.
What time of day is best?
The label says about 30 minutes before a morning or afternoon meal. Taking it near food helps absorb vitamins A, D and E. Consistency matters more than the exact hour.
How much sugar is in Gelagen?
3 g of added sugar and 10 calories per two-gummy serving, from corn syrup and cane sugar.
Safety and side effects
Is Gelagen safe?
For most healthy adults, yes, at the label dose. Every nutrient sits below its upper limit when Gelagen is taken alone. The main cautions are biotin and blood tests, vitamin A in pregnancy, and stacking with other supplements.
Can Gelagen affect blood tests?
Yes. The 5,000 mcg of biotin can make some thyroid, cardiac troponin and hormone tests read falsely high or low. Tell your clinician and the lab, and ask how long to pause before testing.
Can I take Gelagen while pregnant or breastfeeding?
Only with your doctor's approval. The label itself says so, and the preformed vitamin A must be counted with any prenatal vitamin.
Can I take Gelagen with isotretinoin?
Not without your prescriber's approval. Isotretinoin is a vitamin A derivative, and extra vitamin A adds to its side effects.
Does Gelagen cause acne?
There is no evidence that it does at these doses. Some people link high-dose biotin with breakouts, but this has not been shown in controlled research.
Is Gelagen safe for children?
No. The label is for adults, and the candy-like gummies should be stored out of children's reach.
Results
Does Gelagen work?
It can help if you were short on biotin, zinc, vitamin A or the B vitamins. For well-nourished adults, research shows little visible benefit from extra biotin or vitamins.
How long does Gelagen take to work?
Nails may show a firmer band at the base after three to six weeks. Hair takes three months or more. Skin changes are hard to separate from season and skincare.
Will Gelagen regrow my hair?
Not if the cause is genetic pattern hair loss, alopecia areata, thyroid disease or iron deficiency. It may help shedding caused by a deficiency of a nutrient on the label.
Does Gelagen hydrate skin?
Not directly. The label's Deep Hydration wording has no humectant ingredient behind it; the glass of water you take it with does more.
Buying and price
How much does Gelagen cost?
$79 a bottle for two ($158 plus $9.99 shipping), $69 a bottle for three ($207) and $49 a bottle for six ($294), with free U.S. shipping on three or more.
Where can I buy Gelagen?
Through the seller's official order page with payment on BuyGoods. The seller lists no retail stores, and marketplace listings are outside its refund policy.
Is Gelagen on Amazon?
The seller does not list Amazon as a channel. A marketplace listing would be sold by a third party with its own returns, not covered by the 60-day policy.
Will I be charged again?
Only if you tick the optional Subscribe & Save box, which sets up monthly shipments. Otherwise the order is a one-time charge.
How long does delivery take?
The seller does not publish a delivery estimate. Watch for the BuyGoods confirmation and any tracking email, and contact support if nothing arrives.
Comparisons
Is Gelagen better than a regular multivitamin?
Not better, different. A standard adult multivitamin usually covers the same vitamins plus more minerals, at a lower daily cost, but with far less biotin. Gelagen trades mineral coverage for a sweet chew and a 5,000 mcg biotin dose.
Gelagen or plain biotin?
If brittle nails are your only concern, a plain biotin supplement delivers the studied ingredient for much less. Gelagen makes more sense if you also want vitamins A, C, D, E, the B set and zinc in the same daily chew.
Gelagen or a collagen powder?
They do different jobs. Collagen trials for skin elasticity and hydration used 2.5 to 10 g of collagen peptides a day, which Gelagen does not contain. Gelagen supplies vitamins that support the body's own collagen production instead.
How does Gelagen compare with drugstore hair, skin and nail gummies?
Many drugstore gummies have similar biotin and vitamin lines. Compare the full Supplement Facts panel, the sugar per serving and the cost per serving; Gelagen's distinguishing features are its 60-day refund policy and its exact mix.
Is Gelagen worth the money?
It depends on your diet and your goal. For someone short on these nutrients who values a refund policy, it can be. For a well-nourished adult hoping for visible skin change, cheaper multivitamins or sunscreen and sleep are better investments.
Refunds and support
How do I get a Gelagen refund?
Email contact@customercs.com within 60 days with Refund Request in the subject and your order number. Support replies with the return steps.
When does the 60-day window start?
The returns page mentions both the purchase date and the delivery date. Count from the order date to be safe.
Where do I send returns?
No return address is published. Wait for support's reply and use only the address it gives you.
Who pays return shipping?
The policy does not say. Ask in your first email, and use tracked postage if you send bottles back.
How do I contact Gelagen support?
Email contact@customercs.com or call +1 (507) 448-8190, the number on the label. The seller's contact page also lists an SMS line, +1 (855) 889-3137. For subscription cancellations call BuyGoods at (866) 838-5063.
Still unsure? A short decision path
- Check your medical situation. Frequent blood tests, thyroid treatment, pregnancy or a retinoid drug mean a conversation with your clinician first.[2][3]
- Check your expectations. If you want collagen, look elsewhere. If you want the classic hair, skin and nail vitamins in one chew, Gelagen fits.
- Check what you already take. A multivitamin or separate biotin product overlaps heavily with this one.
- Start small and document. Take baseline photos, use the label dose, and decide by day 50 so the refund window stays open.
Supplements are not reviewed by the FDA before sale, and their marketing is not pre-approved.[5] That makes your own reading of the label, and of pages like this one, the main safeguard. We are paid a commission when readers order, and we disclose it on every page as the endorsement rules require.[6]
Where the medical answers come from
The safety and results answers above summarize research covered in more depth on our ingredients, how it works and side effects pages. In short: biotin helps hair and nails in documented deficiency and in small studies of brittle nails, but not reliably in healthy people;[4] the adequate intake for adults is 30 mcg and no upper limit has been set;[1] and high-dose biotin interferes with immunoassays used in many blood tests.[2] Vitamin A has a firm upper limit and specific pregnancy cautions.[3]

Give Gelagen a fair 60-day trial
Payment happens on the seller's BuyGoods checkout. Take two gummies a day as the label says, photograph your nails and hairline in the same light on day one, tell your doctor about the biotin before any blood test, and if the photos look the same around day 50, email the refund request while the window is open.
